Bite of Las Vegas

We spent the day with some of the mommy's group on family day at the Bite of Las Vegas.  We listened to some great music, ate a lot of food and had a wonderful time with a lot of friends.

 I told Tom to bring a sweatshirt because it was cold and windy in the morning.  He wore it and didn't have a short sleeve on under.  He was roasting all day!  Poor guy!  (P.S. next time actually listen to your wife and BRING, not WEAR)

Fall Festival

Our community holds events at our park for all the homeowners.  Kassandra and I meet David, Wendy, Logan and Lilly at the park so that we can get a pumpkin, go through the haunted house, take pictures, eat and of course just hang out.  It was cold but fun!

Loving the family

David, Wendy, Logan and Lilly came for a visit.  Logan was very good all week and got to chose an award.  He chose to visit us!  What a great Nephew we have!  Kassandra loved having Lilly to play with.  Ok really, all of the kids in Kassandra's play group are a bit older so I think Kassandra was thinking "finally I have someone to pick on"

Logan loves to take pictures with my camera.  I never know what I will get until I download the pictures from the camera.

When Tom came home from work he enjoyed some quality time with Kassandra and hearing about her day with the Jensen's.

Kassandra's 6 month appointment

Kassandra had her 6 month Doctor appointment today.  She is a healthy, happy baby.  She is sitting on her own, has her bottom two teeth, gave me a first kiss, and most recently just started crawling.  She loves to be independent and an audience cheering her on is always a good thing. 
Weight: 18lbs 13 oz - 93%
Length: 27 inches - 90%
Head Circumference: 17 inch - 73%

Kassandra's first and second tooth

Kassandra's bottom front teeth are coming in at the same time.  She had a very tough night and then poof, they were there.  Of course she didn't like us showing it off for the camera, but we all know how much mommy loves to take pictures of everything.

Now we have teeth to brush and Kassandra loves the feel of the bristles. 

Kassandra and Boomer

We got Boomer before we knew that we were pregnant.  He was such a cute little puppy, and still is but has an enormous amount of energy and therefore has destroyed our back yard and drip system.  I know he has potential to be such a great dog, but no idea how to train him so I just do the best I can (which is not much now that Kassandra is here).  Anyway I decided to see what would happen if I let him out of his cage and Kassandra is playing in the living room on the floor.  The results surprised me!  He was so good and gentle with her.  The sure do love each other!

Sleeping Beauty

Kassandra fell asleep at our playdate and we borrowed Lucy's swing.  I gave Kassandra her puppy dog she fell asleep snuggling with it.  So cute!

Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens

This was my first time going to the Conservatory and it was so beautiful!  I can't wait to go back to see the winter setup.

For those that have never been, I highly recommend going.  It is free and doesn't take long to go through but is so beautiful!!!
