Happy 40th Tom

This year Tom celebrated his 40th birthday - so of course I had to take him out to dinner and a show.  We saw Phantom of the Opera.  It was awesome.  It was a wonderful evening!

Happy birthday Christine

For my birthday we had a nice day out.  Mall, lunch and Springs Preserve.  It was a beautiful day out so it was PERFECT.  And yes, Kassandra ended up with more than mommy (as you can see by the last picture)

Kassandra in a big girl bed

Kassandra was waking us up EVERY night.  She would stay up unless we brought her into another bed - any bed.  So we decided to try a big girl bed.  It worked!  And she stayed in bed - AMAZING!  She started sleeping through the night again.  I guess she just wanted something a little more comfortable then the baby mattress. She looks so tiny in this big bed.

Christmas 2011

I am so sorry that I haven't posted in a long time.  I have been so busy and time just flies by so here is a recap.
Christmas was great!  Kassandra was spoiled, as expected.  Christmas Eve we (and by that I mean mostly me) opened most of her gifts.  She was very overwhelmed.  Christmas Day we found out why.  She opened up one gift at a time, played with it and about an hour later moved on to the next gift.  Even if she got clothes she still waited approx an hour before opening another gift.  It took 9 hours in total to opened all of her presents.  Crazy long day but it was nice to watch - unlike the blur that I am sure the future will  hold for us. She loved all of her toys and clothes.

Happy 5th Birthday Eli!

Eli had his birthday at the bowling ally in Montrose.  This was Kassandra's 1st time bowling and she LOVED it!  She didn't want to leave.
