Kassandra 2 month dr appointment

Kassandra had her 2 month doctor appointment today.  It went really well... right up until they gave her the shots.  She was not a happy baby, but what baby would be.
Kassandra now weighs in at 11 lbs 4 oz.  She is 23 inches long.  All of which is about average for her age.

Kassandra is just like her mommy and will only do what she wants to do, when she wants to do it.  For instance we have "tummy time" and does a great job of propping herself up with her arms and moving her head to one side or the other.  However if she is not in the mood for it she will either just lay there or scream.  We started going to playdates and so far she is sleeping through them.  It sometimes amazes me how she can sleep through so much noise but it's a good thing because then I don't have a cranky baby.  She loves to smile and when she does it just melts our heart.  She still doesn't like to be naked (not sure where she gets that from) and so every bath and/or changing is followed with lots of screaming.  Her favorite part of the day is when daddy comes home as she gets a break from me :)

So here she is at the doctor appointment waiting on the doctor.  As you can see she is not happy to be left waiting.

This picture was taken right before she was given her shots.  Poor thing has no idea what is coming but I am already comforting her.

This was right after her shots.  She was such a trooper and deserves a good bottle!!!

Overall Kassandra did very well with the shots.  She never needed the Tylenol but she did need lots of loving from mommy and daddy.  By the next day she was all smiles again.
